Some Exciting News!

Things have been extremely quiet at IndigoElephant HQ lately and our online presence has been almost non-existent... but with very good reason! We're expecting our third little bubba later this year (YAY!) and I have been struggling with morning-noon-night sickness and so very tired.

Resolutions, and all that!

Happy New Year my friends!! Yes, I know I'm a bit late, but I think it's a sign of being so relaxed that the days are melding into each other... I often have to think about which day of the week it is!! We enjoyed a lovely week at the beach before Christmas, followed by a day trip to Canberra for Handmade, followed by stacks of Christmas shenanigans. NYE was spent with great friends and I was even awake, ready to welcome in the new year, for the first time in about five years!

Now I've never been one for making resolutions at the beginning of each year, but a conversation with the always delightful Brianna from Mrs Peterson Pottery, had me thinking that the way I work has to change this year or I will end up burnt out by June! The late nights for weeks on end while trying to be the wife and mum I want to be just wasn't all that successful last year. And frankly, the reason I began IndigoElephant was so I could stay home with my beautiful boys for as long as possible and spend lots of quality time with them, not so easy on less than five hours sleep a night! So my resolution for 2012 is: to work smarter (thanks Brianna!!). So far it's going really well, seeing as today is my first day "back at work"... but I'll let you know how things stand throughout the year! How about you, did you make any resolutions? And how are you going with keeping them?

Pinterest Love + Handy Tips...

I know I'm supposed to be working but Pinterest always sucks me in during a break and and I can easily lose half an hour - or more - browsing the clever/beautiful/funny/creative/useful and just plain pretty things on there, re-pinning and promising myself I'll come back to it later. It definitely helped me plan and execute the little one's birthday party, and has given me tons of ideas to implement for Christmas - if I get around to it this year!!

The other thing I'm loving on there are the helpful tips peeps are pinning, you know, like how to clean your baking trays & get stains out of carpets naturally... I'm particularly loving this one and have been wanting to try it for some time now, but haven't had any need for spring onions in my cooking. Did you know you could re-grow your spring onions by placing the root ends in a glass of water?

From Homemade Serenity:

The next time you have green onions, don't throw away the white ends. Simply submerge them in a glass of water and place them in a sunny window. Your onions will begin to grow almost immediately and can be harvested almost indefinitely. We just use kitchen scissors to cut what we need for meals. I periodically empty out the water, rinse the roots off and give them fresh water.

Hello poor neglected blog! It has certainly been awhile, but as it happens, when things start getting out of control busy, blogging is always the first wheel to fall off...

We're now on the homeward stretch towards the end of the year and it can't come soon enough as far as the sewing is concerned. I usually love this time of year, but must admit to feeling quite burnt out with all the sewing at IndigoElephant HQ. Keeping three shops stocked, considering how labour intensive my products are to make, is really taking a toll, and I'm just plain tired. Add to that two little boys who are full of beans and I'm one exhausted mumma!!

Last week I took a couple of 'days off' from sewing to organise what was supposed to be a small party for our baby's third birthday. It was a small party in terms of invited guests, but all the inspiration out in web-land gave me far too many options and ideas for his chosen theme of Angry Birds.

The cake was a labour of love and the main thing is that the birthday boy loved it! The lolly bags were super easy to make using a template I found online. And for games we played some Pin The Beak On The Bird and a lifesize Angry Birds game using boxes to make the towers for the pigs and some cheap bouncy balls with the same templates as the lolly bags glued on for faces. There was no slingshot involved, they just threw the balls at the pigs and tried to knock as much down as possible, it worked surprisingly well and kept the kids occupied for quite some time! The best part was at the end of the day, when Mr IE asked birthday boy what his favourite part of the day was, and he replied with "playing the games at my party"!

It's what you get when you spend literally hours cutting fabric!

My stock of finished items has dwindled down to barely anything after stocking up Shop Handmade, In.cube8r Mosman and Making Spaces Marketplace, so I'm frantically trying to build those numbers up in preparation for the pre-Christmas rush - which has already begun - as well as all those new babies being born right now! In fact, i'm looking forward to getting back to the sewing machine, just for a break from the scissors!

Birthdays and Cakes!

My kids love flicking through the the Women's Weekly cake cook books in the lead up to one of our birthdays. I have two books and regularly find them in odd places around the house where the kids have left them after a long browse!

Of course, in the lead up to my own birthday the boys regularly ask if I'd like a dinosaur/spider/butterfly/crocodile/swimming pool... you get the picture. But in my recent trawls through Pinterest I came across this beauty...

I'm so tempted to show this to them and let them know that this is what I'd like...just to see their reaction! Isn't it beautiful? Of course, Pinterest is also helping me get organised for the kids birthdays, especially since one of them is set on having an Angry Birds cake for his next one. I had no idea it was such a popular party theme! Something like this might even be within my cake decorating ability!

KCWC Days 6 & 7.

So the KCWC juggernaut kept rolling on over the last two days, but I haven't had a chance to sew anything. Sadly life intruded, and it was a great weekend, but meant I've put the last two days of KCWC on hold until I receive this:

I've been looking forward to adding this to my collection for awhile now and hope it'll provide some good items to make for my boys...I have only read good things about it and can't wait for it to arrive. Until then it's all about bibs and softies for this week - apart from the general craziness of life around here!

KCWC Day Five.

The reversible bucket hat is finished, and thanks to the tips and tricks from Jessica at a little gray it was not at all difficult. I'm definitely a visual learner and love having images to accompany step-by-step instructions!

Above is the cotton side, using the Patchwork Plaid from Emily Herrick's Going Coastal range. I love all the colours in it, which should work well with lots of his clothes, as long as he's wearing a plain shirt! On the reverse I used a solid, almost navy linen, but the check is clearly visible from the front so it can't be worn with checks, ever!

I must add that making one side out of 100% linen made things a little trickier as it kept moving around, and required a gazillion pins to hold it in place. The most difficult part was pinning the crown to the sides but not so much that I wouldn't make another one... maybe not until next Summer though - my boys are all sorted with hats for this one!

KCWC Days Three & Four.

Day Three of the KCWC had me trying desperately to finish off my Sprinkle Shirts and failing miserably. See my problem below? Even the boys said there was something wrong with it!

Trying to watch TV, doing this post-9pm, and rushing to finish as I couldn't believe how long this simple task was taking probably didn't help...

Day Four saw me carefully unpicking the bits that should be where the blank triangle is and filling them in a bit better...

Then planning and beginning the second shirt a bit less haphazardly!

And after another very late night a second Sprinkle Shirt finished!

Day Five is all about the Bucket Hat. A big thanks to Rachael, who pointed me in the direction of a little gray for some very handy tips to make it all a bit less daunting!

Making Spaces Marketplace

Have you heard of the Making Spaces Marketplace yet? It's a stunning handmade collective, tucked away in a little arcade at Parramatta. Here is a bit about it from their website:

Making Spaces Marketplace is a creative initiative made possible through Pop Up Parramatta Arts NSW focused on injecting creative enterprise and creative infrastructure into unused buildings and spaces in Parramatta CBD.

The initiative sees Parramatta City Council and building owners matching empty spaces to local designers and artists to showcase their talents, with the intent of rejuvenating and enlivening otherwise ‘dead retail areas’ of the region.

Making Spaces Marketplace is a boutique style space providing an ever changing array of handmade goods for sale. Lovers of handmade now have a dedicated destination for delighting over locally made products. Designers are offered a unique opportunity within this creative enterprise to display and sell their own wares in the heart of the Parramatta CBD.

I'm so pleased to announce that a selected range of IndigoElephant stock will be available through Making Spaces Marketplace in Parramatta! I was there this morning taking stock over and couldn't help but start some gift shopping. I was also convinced, by my littlest, to buy him a magnetic felt fishing set from Creative Wishes. It has been a most popular purchase, being in high demand from both boys all afternoon... I'm hoping they'll now give up on using Daddy's ties as fishing lines to reel each other up off the floor! You can find the shop at Greenway Plaza, 222 Church St, Parramatta. The opening hours are Wed - Fri 10 - 4 and Sat 9:30 - 3:30.

KCWC Day Two.

Ahh Day Two, such a let down after the apparent achievements of Day One, even if it was just hemming lots of shorts... Then along came 'work', leaving very little time for kids clothes! I thought this week was great timing for KCWC but I needed to organise some stock to send to various places - more about that later - and the only achievemnet for Day Two is below.

I've wanted to do something similar to Dana's Sprinkle Shirts for awhile, but it was another one of those things I never seemed to get around to. The boys are also really into their letters too so I think the shirts will be a hit! I have a feeling I'll be lucky to get these completed on Day Three, wish me luck!

KCWC Day One.

The Elsie Marley Kids Clothes Week Challenge began yesterday and while it's the Autumn installment, I need to get organised for the warmer weather we are anticipating for Spring and Summer down in the southern hemisphere. It is the perfect timing for me to finish off some summer pyjamas I started last summer for my boys, but never finished due to my aversion to hemming. Thankfully the sizing is fairly generous and they'll fit the boys through this season, and maybe even the next. I was also able to finish off some other shorts I had started as well, so all in all it was a great start to the week!

Two sets of summer PJs for Baby Elephant #1. I love the giraffe fabric, I won it (and the fish above) from I Just Love That Fabric, in a giveaway well over a year ago and was saving it, and saving it, and finally decided to cut into it for the boys.

Plus two pair of shorts for #1, yes I feel bad that he always gets more new clothes, but with two boys, I know they'll get double the wear! Plus below you'll see that I've cut the pieces for the bucket hat... Feeling slightly intimidated by this project but will give it a go!

Kids Clothes Week Challenge.

Did you know that the Elsie Marley Kids Clothes Week Challenge is on again next week? I've been umm-ing and ahh-ing over whether to sew along, but figured it wouldn't hurt to join in the fun! Especially since I've begun sorting through the mountains of fabric in the sewing room and 'found' way too many that I'd bought to sew something specific for the kids, which were then buried beneath other things. Or I could even finish those half made projects that are starting to pile up, did you know that I have some unfinished summer pyjamas that I started for the boys last summer! Thankfully they're a generous cut so I should be able to get away with it and they can wear them this summer!!

I have already pulled out my copy of the Oliver+S book, Little Things To Sew, as I've wanted to make the boys the reversible bucket hat from it. We'll see how it goes!!

Handmade Canberra Wrap Up!

Wow! I am still recovering from the utter madness that is Handmade Canberra's Upmarket last weekend... Apart from the manic preparation for a never-been-done-before two day event, my weekend began in the wee small hours of Saturday morning. I was driving down on my own, so was grateful for the opportunity to convoy with Kim on the way down - thanks Kim! Set up was crazy busy and before I knew it, lovely shoppers were coming through the doors and I hadn't even got the price tags up, let alone changed from my comfy driving shoes to the boots I was planning on wearing! The brand new Party Dress, pictured above (apologies for the dodgy phone pic), was very well received, which is wonderful as I love it too!

I had a great weekend, the highlights are always meeting and chatting to the people who use the things I make. It is so humbling that others find what I make beautiful and practical, and keep coming back for more - all those return buyers absolutely made my weekend, thank you so much, you guys make the late nights worthwhile! My only complaint would be that I never get enough time to shop at this market... I literally had a short list in my head of which stalls I need to visit and did a quick dash over during a quiet moment later in the day or on Sunday morning before the doors opened to the public. Want to see who I visited?

The Curious Chocolatier for the yummiest macaroons, I went over late on Sunday to buy some for my boys, and went back 10mins later to buy more for myself...Unfortunately by that time they only had one pistachio macaroon left, so Mr IE got that one, though the hazlenut one and salted caramel one were delicious too!

I stopped by Prim and Pretty for a Liberty fabric flower brooch, love brooches and can't wait to start wearing that one! Though I was also tempted by their lovely resin / ribbon necklaces too, might have to save that one for a future market!

Six in a Row is always a feast for the eyes with all their amazing necklaces, I couldn't help it it when a lovely multi-strand wooden bead one made it's way around my neck and had to be purchased!

And Handmade is never complete without a quick chat to Jennie a.k.a Posie Patchwork... This lovely lady introduced me to the gang at Handmade about a year ago and always has a smile on her face and time for a chat, even when she is exhausted and dosed up on nurofen to get through market pack up. She is an inspiration too, with her soldier husband often away, four gorgeous kids to raise and a successful handmade business on the go, I truly don't know how she does it all!

What a long post this has become! Yay you if you read through to the end!! Anyway, it's on all over again on December 17 & 18... But for now, it's catch up on sleep time!

The newest member of the IndigoElephant team... Frankie, who will be coming to Canberra this weekend for Handmade Canberra's Upmarket, till then I'm buzzing around trying to get things finished.

For some reason all those last minute jobs, like ironing the stock, attaching swing tags, counting everything, making sure all the display props are ready to go, just takes me forever. So, my plan was to have all my sewing finished on Monday...but, it didn't happen. And the old machine was still humming away, but all the essentials were completed yesterday. There are still plenty more things I could do if I get some time.... For now it's time to let the ironing/counting/pinning begin...

For those of you who are heading to Canberra for Floriade and the market, please make sure you come and say hi... I love meeting you all! And for those looking for something to do over the long weekend, I hear that Canberra is lovely this time of year *insert cheeky grin*... No really, if you're looking for something to do, why not enjoy a leisurely drive to the capital, take in the tulips, or the art gallery, or Questacon... and of course the market. I'm hoping I get some sneaky shopping time, but if it's anything like previous events, I'll be flat out manning the stand!

The market is on Saturday and Sunday October 1-2, at the National Convention Centre, Constitution Ave, Canberra, 10am - 4pm.

Crayon Wallets Galore!

At the moment, every spare minute I have is occupied with 'making' in preparation for Handmade Canberra on October 1-2. I'm really looking forward to the fantastic atmosphere that is always a part of this great market but I've never done a two day event before and have no idea what to expect in terms of visitors to the market and how much stock I'll need? So, I keep making... and making... and making!

There are a few new {limited} items that I'm very excited to be taking down, and will share those soon. But for now, it's all about the Crayon Wallet! These were hugely popular in the lead up to Christmas last year, because not only are they super cute, and encourage creativity in little ones, but they are the kind of gift that keeps giving. How, you ask? Well, on the surface they're a gift for a child, but really they are a gift for the parent too, they are easy to fit into a handbag (or man-bag!), and ready to entertain your little one while you enjoy a coffee, wait for the doctor, or for a meal to arrive... the possibiliteis are endless! Eek it's only five weeks to go until the next Handmade Canberra market and I'm about two weeks behind with my 'to do' list thanks to some family sickness... Can I say that I hate gastro and I can certainly feel time ticking by! Plus it's a two day market, which one would assume requires more stock than a one day event??

School Holiday Fun.

I have so much to share seeing as I've been fairly absent online over the last three weeks - thanks to school holidays! It's certainly been a cold three weeks but we've tried to stay warm and have fun despite spending the whole middle week battling a nasty cold-y cough-y thing that seemed to get all of us to some degree. I must admit I had grand plans for getting lots of 'selfish sewing' done, but have struggled with that! Let's just say that the 'Must Make' list is growing longer and longer - oh, and have you become obsessed with Pinterest yet? That's a whole other blog post, but I have a visual collection there of things I'd like to try making too!

In my last post, I was going to try making my boys some Urban Hoodies using the pattern from Heidi & Finn. Want to know how I went?? Well, I have mostly finished making four, two for each of the boys, but they just aren't finished yet (not that it stopped Baby Elephant #2 from wearing his two days straight, despite at first asking me to give it away to his friend). Below is a pic of him wearing it out and about - unfinished. My problem is that I hate hemming, and I really need to hem the sleeves, and add buttons to the front. I will get to it before the end of winter! Promise!

The pattern was very easy to understand which made it enjoyable to make, but the sizing is a tad on the small side so the size 3 on my 2.5yo is a bit snug. He is tall for his age, and while not chunky, isn't skinny either?! Now that I think about it, I also made a couple of vests for the boys and skirts for me, so I guess I didn't do all that badly on the selfish sewing front. I seem to struggle with setting myself realistic goals though and there is much more I want to make! I'll definitely share the others once I take some pics!!

Sewing For Boys.

They always miss out don't they? Possibly because there really isn't much scope for creativity in their wardrobe as opposed to the myriad of options for girls?! But with two little boys here, always asking if I'm making something for them, I thought it was about time I got my act together and tried something for them (other than pyjamas, that is!).

I was hugely inspired by Meg's Kids Clothing Week Challenge over at Elsie Marley? If I hadn't been in the middle of {controlled} chaos in the lead up to Handmade Canberra's Upmarket, which was fabulous as always, I'd have loved to sew along too. Instead I stashed away some patterns and decided once the market craziness was over, I'd give them a go. Starting with the Heidi & Finn Urban Hoodie, which I'm currently making for my littlest man... and hoping he'll love it as he's always asking to wear "fluffy jackets", by which he means fleecy hoodies as opposed to knitted ones.

I also love the Oliver & S patterns, again lots of gorgeous girly patterns but these two for the boys are just calling out to be made. I also recently purchased the Oliver + S book Little Things To Sew, and am hoping to make the Explorer Vest with it's multitude of pockets. What is it with boys loving pockets, they never grow out of it?? Do you have any other 'go to' boys clothing patterns? Please share if you do and I'll have to add them to my list of things to sew!

IndigoElephant hearts bamboo for so many reasons... want to know why we have jumped on the bamboo bandwagon and how it will improve what we create (and you love)? If you've been to visit the online shops (and read the product descriptions!) you'd have noticed our bibs are now backed in bamboo double terry, as are the new & improved burp cloths which will make it online soon! The bamboo terry is fabulously soft, while also being more sustainable to grow and more absorbent than cotton. It also has great antibacterial qualities! Plus, following all the issues with finding a quality replacement for backing the pram blankets, they'll will also be backed with bamboo. Not the double terry, but a super warm and soft bamboo + organic cotton fleece. The first of the blankets will be available at Handmade Canberra on June 11! Hope to see some of you there.

Today my beautiful grandmother celebrates her 90th birthday! She is a wonderful woman who has blessed so many others with her love, graciousness, compassion, faithfulness and kindness, she is amazing in so many ways and has had a huge impact on my life.

IndigoElephant is back online... just madeit at the moment!! It's been a crazy few weeks with all sorts of things going on in our lives but things are getting back to normal - slowly. So please bear with me as I photograph, edit and list new items, while also making new stock, making up products for markets, and doing the whole wife-ing/mothering thing.

In recent weeks it's been a bit of a struggle to balance all my roles and feel like I'm doing any of them reasonably well so the break from having a strong online presence was fantastic. It allowed me to spend some quality time with the family, immediate and extended. I haven't been too far away from the sewing machine though, with too many ideas and never enough time to bring them to life!!

This crisp, sunny autumn morning saw us heading to our local market for some delicious treats. It's been a long time since I went to a market as a shopper, not a stallholder and really enjoyed being able to browse at leisure - or as much leisure as two boys with a need for marshmallows will allow! Though who can blame them when the marshmallows are as good as what Gena makes! Check out our haul - yes it's huge considering all I really wanted was a tub of marinated olives!

An Overhaul.

Some of you would be aware that there are some changes afoot at IndigoElephant HQ, the online stores are in 'vacation mode' and you can elect to be notified when they re-open. But until that happens you might like a sneak peek at what is underway...

It all began with the inability to find some of my regular supplies in a condition I was happy to use, and has set off a huge chain reaction affecting most of my online stock. Due to a worldwide cotton shortage my supplier of the lovely thick chenille used to back the Pram Blankets is no longer supplying it. There are other suppliers but none seem to match the quality of the original so once my current stock is gone I will no longer make the blankets... and in the meantime all my stock is at Shop Handmade, in Canberra. Can I suggest that you visit them if you're ever in town, you will be assured of finding the most gorgeous collection of handmade goodies all gathered together under one roof!!

Around the same time I was struggling to source the great quality cotton towelling I've been using for years to back the bibs with as that supplier had changed suppliers... Do they know how frustrating that is?! And so began a search for an alternative which lead to bamboo. And I'm loving this amazingly versatile, eco-friendly, absorbent, hypoallergenic fabric... But more about that shortly!

Market Dates.

I have just been looking through my calendar, working out what's coming up in the next few weeks, seeing as we're already in March, despite my head being back in early Feb!! And have updated the Market Dates and Stockists page with where you can find me over the coming months. Due to family commitments I (sadly) won't be at the next couple of Hide & Seek events in Kellyville, but fingers are crossed that May will see me back there. In the meantime, I will be supporting a new handmade market for those fans in western Sydney & the Mountains, Petite People is starting up in April at Glenmore Park so if you're in that neck of the woods, I'd love to see you there!

Also, if anyone is in the Crescent Head area, you will find a selected range of bibs at the Handmad Emporium, so drop by, say hi to Rob and tell him I sent you! Of course, you can still find a great range of IndigoElephant products at Shop Handmade in Canberra too.

I was certain last week that February was going to be my quietest month ever of trade, sales were extremely slow, but that was to be expected, right? I mean, it is still early in the year, some people are still recovering from Christmas and all that!

Well, Handmade Market in Canberra on Saturday has opened the flood gates and I'm slowly drowning in a sea of orders, not that I'm complaining about that!! Saturday's market was fantastic, in fact we were flat out trading half an hour before the market was due to even start, plus leaving some stock behind for Shop Handmade meant we brought very little home again. Now I have to make 40 bibs and applique some t-shirts to fill orders and I guess I better get cracking on making stock for the next market!!

If you read my last post, you'd know that I recently whipped up a library bag for our big boy to take to preschool. He loves it "sooo much" and it's given him a real sense of resposibility with the books he borrows. I had fun making it too, (and getting to use my bias tape makers again), so decided to make some for this Saturday's Handmade Market in Canberra. Depending on how well they're received I may add some to the online shops too!

The book is not included, sorry!

A New Season.

Things have been a little quiet on the IndigoElephant front lately, as we prepared to send our big boy off to preschool. He was a bit apprehensive, which made me nervous about it too. He has only ever been looked after by family or close friends - all people he knows and trusts, so the anxiety was understandable. The hardest part of his school days would have to be leaving him upset and calling for me to stay. But the staff are fantastic, reassure me that though he's upset for a short while, he'd settle into the day and have a wonderful time. At one point on day one, he'd said to his teacher "this place is really great, I love it here"! Drop offs are still hard, but I'm hoping they'll improve soon!

Of course he couldn't head off to preschool without some handmade goodies from mummy! On the list of things to take were a couple of items I was more than happy to give the IndigoElephant touch... the library bag and the hand towel!

For the bag I dug out some lovely Echino fabric I was saving for something special and made a simple lined drawstring bag, which he loves - not sur eif it's because mummy finally made something just for him! It's great for taking books and toys over to Nana's house as well (And yes he did bring home 2 books from the preschool library).

With the hand towel, I simply bought a cheapie white towel and added some gorgeous tape from Lilla Lotta (that was also being saved for something special) and a loop for hanging with some of the leftover library bag drawstring. I also finally had the chance to use my Clover bias tape makers...and they are amazing! Almost no steam burns and evenly folded fabric, you've gotta love those little gadgets that make jobs easier!

Couch Picnics!

There are so many cute, fun, romantic ideas around for celebrating Valentines Day. If my Mister and I celebrated V-Day, this would be such a fun way to do it! I love how Amy describes it:

For something simple, inexpensive yet still romantic, I would highly recommend the following concept: Instead of splurging on dinner at a fancy restaurant, have a cosy night in on the couch. A couch 'picnic' of sorts. Snuggle under a blanket, order take-out, indulge in champagne, popcorn and candy in front of your favourite romantic movie.

You can even eat on disposable picnic plates and cutlery so that neither of you have to wash any dishes afterwards!

The whole idea is just a little more fancy than a night at home with takeaway, wine and a movie , plus the last bit, about disposable plates is genius! I might have to book in a night before the footy season begins! Oops too late, he's already glued to the AFL and league, and here I thought they were winter sports!

Don't you love it when you get to the end of a day and can sit back feeling that you've achieved something during that day? I do, and I don't just mean picking up all the kids toys multiple times, vacuuming the floor, getting washing done, dried and back in, a bit of gardening etc etc...though these are all important ~~to a functioning family home~~ for my sanity! But today I had the extra enjoyment of posting off my first wholesale order and receiving my new eftpos machine. I've been wanting to get eftpos set up for some time, and can now cross that off the list, and I'm hoping that all those shoppers who've been asking me if I have it will be back at Handmade Market in Canberra to help me test it out! Ok, my working day is not over just yet, so I better get back to it!

Break Over!

The online shops are re-opened, four loads of washing have been done with another one to go, most of the bags have been unpacked, fruit & veg have been re-stocked with groceries to be done tomorrow and I am back from our break - with the mandatory post-holiday head cold! We had a lovely week away at Fingal Bay, about 2hrs north of Sydney, the four of us at the beach for a whole week. We were blessed with fantastic weather, and even the rainy mornings turned into beautiful warm days, so we were swimming everyday, and sometimes even twice! The boys had a wonderful time, digging, swimming, running, laughing, playing, eating and drinking... though that's not to say we didn't have tantrums!

It was great family time, but now it's over, and we need to get back into the swing of things for another year with Mr IndigoElephant back at work this week and Baby Elephant #1 starting preschool next week. On the creative front, I'm very excited to be sending off my first wholesale order tomorrow, and eagerly await the arrival of my new eftpos machine later in the week. But more importantly, I'm energised and ready to jump into some new ideas and get sewing! Though the holiday may be over, I have a feeling we're in for a fun year ahead!!

Queensland Flood Appeal.

By now everyone would be aware of the devastion caused by the floods in Queensland. In Sydney we've experienced some mild summer days which make it all the more difficult to comprehend images like the one above. But there are some great ways we can all be involved in supporting those affected as they begin cleaning up...

The Down Under Street Team have a shop on Etsy full of donated goodies, with the total purchase cost (minus Etsy & Paypal fees) being donated to the Queensland Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal. The shop can be found here.

Also, there are lots of Facebook run auctions to support, a couple of my faves are at Summerblossom and Handmade Kids. If you're in the Canberra area, you could pop into Shop Handmade as many designers (including IndigoElephant) are contributing 10% of January sales to the Relief Appeal, with the Shop matching the whatever is raised.

Bloggers are also getting on board with some great auctions going on, you can find out about them at Make It Perfect. Corrie at Retromummy is organising Quilts for Queensland. And Danielle, over at Digella Emporium is running Baked Relief to support those tireless workers in the midst of the clean up.

So there is no excuse for feeling that there is nothing we can do to help out. I'm more than happy for you to link to any other groups or activities that are happening in aid of the Relief Appeal in the comments.

I'm stuck in a bit of a productive rut at the moment - maybe not quite as big as the one pictured above - having enjoyed a lovely relaxing break away from the sewing machine. Apart from the orders that are coming through, it's hard to get myself back into it. As it would happen, ideas for new stock are coming thick and fast, and after sending off a whole box of goodies to Shop Handmade there is distinct lack of stock for upcoming markets. Anyone got any tips for dragging oneself out of a rut?

This is a very belated post that I meant to write about a week ago but Christmas sort of got in the way! I really wanted to thank all the lovely IndigoElephant fans for all your support, encouragement and kind words throughout 2010. It is always appreciated, so thank you. I also need to thank my wonderful family & friends, Mr IndigoElephant and our mums in particular, without whom I could not do what I love doing. The constant support, baby sitting and encouragement is invaluable!

And so another year begins... I hope you enjoy welcoming in 2011 with those you love - looking forward to another great handmade year ahead!

Christmas Preparations...

How is your Christmas prep going? Mine is a little slow this year, but after {today} posting off the last pre-Christmas order, I'm glad to say that a few things have been ticked off the list. There is still plenty more to do, but definitely more progress than this time last week! If you read this post you'll be aware of a few things I had planned, so far I've made and gifted the rocky road, made the stars for the garland, made the fruit mince and the kids have done the wrapping paper and all the present shopping is completed - though I am a teeny bit worried that a few presents ordered online might not make it before Christmas... But, on to wrap the presents I do have piling up, make the boys some pyjamas, make the fruit mince pies etc etc etc!! Hope you're enjoying the season's frivolity, and are a bit better organised than me!!

Last night I enjoyed a lovely night out with a few of my 'colleagues'! A few weeks ago I was chatting with some regular stallholder buddies and we decided that as we spend most of our time working alone, we should get together for our own Christmas party - away from the market atmosphere - to chat and catch up without having to worry about being away from our stalls for too long. Unfortunately I didn't think to take any happy snaps, but assure you that there were many laughs, good food and wine and plans for more of these nights!

So thanks for a great night Belinda (Snow White Meets Belle), Kim (Kaboodle Kits for Kids), Lauren (Baby Chic Designs) and Louise (Smallprint)! We're hoping more of our market buddies can make the next night out, tentatively planned for before things start up next year, hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a restful break! A Mixed Bag!

I had a bit of a disappointing market experience on Sunday, while taking part in the first Sydney Boutique Market The organisation was great, there were stacks of shoppers there for the day but unfortunately they weren't buying a great deal of kids products. After the fantastic day at Handmade Market the week before, it was a bit sad, but I guess these things happen and we just need to move on!

The silver lining is that I can start on my Christmas projects this week instead of waiting until after Hide and Seek market next weekend. I have so much fabric stashed away for projects I've planned but never get around to that I'll still be busy sewing this week and next! I also need to do a huge clear out of my sewing room, so at the upcoming Hide & Seek will be offering some big reductions on a limited range of items - because I don't want to store them over the summer! If you're around Sydney and need to pick up some last minute gifts, or need some additions to the present box/cupboard, come past and check it out at Wrights Rd Community Centre, Kellyville from 10am - 2pm.

I have so many fun Christmas-y things planned for this week, that it's sure to throw me into a more festive mood than I've had for the last couple of weeks with market preparations. Today we took the kids into the city to see Santa, not sure which they enjoyed more, their first bus ride or seeing Santa, but they definitely had a great time! Now I must get organised for our playgroup Christmas party tomorrow!

Just Catching My Breath!

Ahh what a busy few weeks it's been here, and things aren't slowing down just yet! This blog has, yet again, been neglected as some things just can't be kept up with - like doing laundry and being organised enough to plan meals for a whole week! But I thought I'd stop for a minute to fill you in on life at IndigoElephant HQ!

Last week we celebrated our precious Baby Elephant #2's second birthday! Don't ask me where that time has gone because it feels like he only turned one a few weeks ago... I love that at two he totally got the whole party thing, the idea that friends come over, we play games, sing 'happy birthday', blow out the candles and eat cake. And we also did the cake/singing/candle blowing out thing again on his actual birthday with a few family, which happened to be just before Handmade Market in Canberra!

That has been the other major thing chewing up any time I have and even some I don't! I'd been told by a few creative peeps who have done the market before to prepare LOTS of stock, which meant that for weeks leading up to the day I was functioning on decreasing amounts of sleep! I was contemplating pulling an all nighter before the market - unheard of since uni days - but remembered Posie's car crafting, and took a bag of handsewing for the drive down so I could at least get some sleep the night before! Thanks Posie!!

The day was amazing, this market is a must visit destination whether you're local or not. The range of stalls and the high quality handmade products were a feast for the eyes (as I walked past them on my way to the loo), and my only disappointment was not having time to shop! It was our most successful market ever, and I loved getting to meet all the lovely shoppers who stopped by. A huge thanks also to my mum, who came over at the crack of dawn to look after the boys for the day and the most wonderful husband in the world, who did all the driving, unpacking, re-packing amidst a storm, caffeine supplying, treat sourcing as well as helping out when things got busy - I know he'd rather have been watching the cricket in air conditioned comfort! We're really looking forward to being involved again next year!

More Crayon Wallets!

Though I'm madly preparing for market madness over the next few weeks, I thought I should share some of the fruit of my efforts... These are some of the new Crayon Wallets, currently only available at markets or through Shop Handmade in Canberra. I've been wanting to list these online but am struggling to find enough hours in the day to sew up stock, let alone photograph products, edit and list them. So, until I find those elusive extra hours in the day, you can pick one up at a market or email me if you can't get to a market and I'll make a special listing for you!!

The Crayon Wallets are fantastic for keeping little fingers busy and creative juices flowing while waiting for meals at restaurants, in doctors' surgeries, while a sibling plays sport/has a lesson... or to keep them occupied while mummy (or daddy!) ~~writes a blog post~~ 'works' on the computer. They retail for $25 (postage extra) and come with an A6 blank notepad and eight Crayola crayons. Inside the wallet there are slots for the crayons, a pocket for the notepad and another pocket for completed masterpieces, they fold into thirds and close with an elastic over a button. I already have a mental list of which ones are destined for some of our friends having birthdays over the next few weeks! Oh, and FYI, A6 is a quarter of an A4 sheet!

I'm so happy about the range of Christmas Bibs being released this week in the Madeit shop! There's a great selection to choose from, with lots of Dribble and Feeding Bibs designed to keep your bub stylishly festive as well as clean during the upcoming Christmas feasts, {Did you know Christmas is just over two months away??} And as we are in the Southern Hemisphere, there is not a snowman or pair of mittens in sight!!

I'm so excited about sharing the newest addition to the IndigoElephant range! It's something I've been thinking about doing for quite awhile but never seemed to get around to. But this week, the bullet was bit and here they are...

Crayon Wallets for your little artiste on the go. They fold up nice and compact to fit in your bag (or theirs), and unfold to reveal 8 Crayola crayons, an A6 blank pad, and a pocket to hold previous masterpieces.

As always my boys have been product testing through the week and helping with refinements to the design. They love theirs, and I'm hoping they will prove popular! With Christmas not far off these make a great present and are handy for keeping the kidlets entertained at cafes, restaurants, waiting rooms or even in the shopping trolley!!

They will be available at the Hills Zone Playgroup Fun Day this Sunday, at Castle Glen Community Centre, Ridgecrop Drive, Castle Hill from 10am till 2pm. Tickets are $10 per child pre-purchased or $20.00 on the day. Kids will need to have an armband to go on the rides, which are available from Kristie Ireland via hillsdistrictplaygroups@hotmail.com (please include name, amount of armbands required and your phone number). And there will be a range of stalls for some retail therapy for the parents! It would be great to see you there!!

It feels like ages since I've posted here (and caught up on reading my favourite blogs too)... I've been suffering a bit of post market burn out after sewing like a mad woman for two markets in September. Not that it has deterred me from booking two in October and December!

So for the last week, I've been enjoying some time with my boys, developing some new things, getting to know my new sewing machine better, and trying to get my head around the fact that Christmas is less than 3 months away.

I also received some fabric I'd ordered to make my boys some summer pyjamas, and it was great to say "Yes" when they asked if it was for them! I've managed to wash and iron them, and hope to get them made before summer weather kicks in...

I'm not usually a fan of licensed character items but the Dr Seuss fabrics are lovely, and the boys love pointing out who they can find on there! The other one is an organic cotton from Monaluna's Circa 50s range, the patterns are great for boys, so it was hard to limit myself to just the one. I might have to go back for more later!

New Books.

I can't remember if I've mentioned my latest shopping destination for books? The lovely DUSTy ladies have me hooked on the Book Depository for the cheapest books on the planet and free shipping from the UK!! Now I can shop from the comfort of my computer and don't have to battle the shops with a toddler & pre-schooler - who've inherited their dad's aversion to shopping!

In the last few weeks I've received my most recent purchases, Bend-the-Rules Sewing and Sew What! Skirts to help me make some skirts for myself this summer as well as some gifts for Christmas!

I'm looking forward to some time - hopefully soon - to myself to actually attempt making some skirts and other non-IndigoElephant related things!!

Canberra, Part II

The second part of the weekend was spent at Mathilda's Market, at the Park Hyatt in Canberra. It was a fairly busy day, as always it was lovely to meet the shoppers and hear what they were looking for - things for boys!! And following the Mathilda's standard, there was a talented group of fellow stall holders to meet as well.

I was glad to find out that my stall was beside Posie Patchwork, and I had a great day chatting with Jennie as I've been following her blog for a while! She has stocked up on some IndigoElephant goodness and you can read about it on her blog. Thanks for making it a fun day Jennie!!

I'm not sure when IndigoElephant will be heading down to Canberra again, it was definitely a fun day at market (but the drive home with a cranky toddler was not)! Hopefully it won't be long before we try it all again, maybe at Handmade market next time?!

Canberra, Part I

Last weekend was a little bit crazy... As you know, we were heading down to Canberra for Mathilda's Market on Sunday and were invited to stay the weekend with family about 40mins out of Canberra. So we packed the car and headed down on Saturday, stopping in Canberra to watch an U16 AFL grand final before heading over to the house...

The property was incredible! With a house set in 120-odd acres of bush, it was a tad remote, but the views were breathtaking, and we weren't actually that far from civilisation!! The kids had a great time exploring, looking for wombat holes, walking to the dams, chasing the chickens and Neville the dog.

Last weekend was all about the dads so I held off posting this despite my excitement... But on Saturday I won some gorgeous jewellery handmade by Jess of Epheriell Designs. Thanks so much Jess!! My New Toy!

I got a new ~~worker~~ sewing machine today and want to share it with you!! After much research, some raised stress levels and a few tears I finally have a new Bernina machine (called a sewing computer in the manual) and I'm so very happy with it. Admittedly I'm yet to use her, but had to share a pic of my new toy...

Isn't she pretty? The staff at Bernina Chatswood are the most helpful I've come across for a long time, and are very different to my local sewing centre lady who is always on the phone when I walk in and makes you wait while she chats to her friends! When I first went to Bernina Chatswood, Julie asked me lots of questions about what I sew before recommending this model and showing me what a great machine it is. And as an added bonus, they offer as many free one-on-one lessons as you need to help you get to know your machine and all its functions. I've set her up and she's ready to go, but I need to find some quiet activites for the boys this rainy Saturday so they don't need me every 5 minutes!!

For the last couple of weeks I have been flat out, busily preparing for the second Hide & Seek market as well as dealing with snotty and croup-y kids. As a reward I decided to go shopping and treat myself to something for me, but it is never fun to actually go shopping with a 1.5 and 3 year old, neither of whom enjoy the pleasures of shopping. So when I stumbled across this gorgeous brooch on Etsy, I just had to order it!!

It is beautifully made, all the petals are handcut and handsewn together, I love wearing it... and while I was ordering the brooch I also ordered myself some of these pins...

Aren't they the cutest? They are long, like 5cm, so I use half as many when pinning things together before sewing. They make me smile! A successful shopping trip, don't you think!!

This blog has been a little neglected lately...the kids have been sick -again - and my sewing machine has not been playing nicely - again. On top of that I've been trying to complete some orders and prepare stock for the next Hide & Seek market this Sunday. So if you're around Sydney, pop by and say hello at Wrights Rd Community Centre, Kellyville from 10am - 2pm.

The pram blankets were very popular at the last market so I've been making more, despite heading towards warmer weather! The August winds are quite strong, and while great for drying washing, not so good for bubbas out and about in the chilly winds. Most of these pram blankets are one of a kind and once they're gone, I can't be sure of finding the same fabric to make another. The blankets are so lovely, I wish I could keep them all!!

Creative Mums :: Kim - Kaboodle

Kim is another of our playgroup mums, and the creative force behind Kaboodle Baby Essentials and Kits for Kids. With two kids as well, I'm in awe of how productive she is!

Kim makes the most gorgeous craft kits, cooking kits, aprons, nappy wallets & chalk mats, and I'd highly recommend checking out the Kaboodle website.

I can personally recommend her nappy wallets, they're fantastic for easily transferring some nappies, wipes, hand sanitiser, nappy sacks & rash cream between bags, while keeping it all together - so you're not rummaging around your handbag for the wipes while trying to hold down a half changed baby!! They're also great to have your supplies in the car if you're getting to the end of the nappy stage and no longer need to take things everywhere you go.

Chalkmats in action!

The chalkmats are another great product, that I'm looking forward to trying out! Designed to keep the kids entertained while out and about without having to drag around a bag full of toys, they roll up nice and small, and come with a little pouch for the chalk and a duster to wipe them clean! These will be available at the next Hide & Seek Market on Sunday 22nd August, at Wrights Rd Community Centre Kellyville.

As I mentioned yesterday, I feel very fortunate to have some creative mums at my kids playgroup, (and also many more amongst my friends) but today I'd like to introduce Belinda. The talent behind the very new Snow White Meets Belle jewellery range. With two little girls, it's easy to see where she came up with the shop name!

Belinda has a background in graphic design, followed by a few years mummy-ing, before the need for a creative outlet led to the opening of a Madeit shop stocking her gorgeous jewellery!

Creative Mums

After my first Baby Elephant was born, like lots of other first time mums, I went along to our local Early Childhood Clinic to join a mothers' group. Admittedly feeling a bit nervous after hearing and reading plenty of horror stories about competitive mothers, and other general nastiness around similar groups, I was so happy to meet others who were down to earth and very, very normal! There were about 17 or 18 mums in that original group, and once the formal sessions were done with, we formed a playgroup. That was about 3 years ago, and our playgroup is still going strong.

Etsy Currency Changes!!

Yes it's finally here! Etsy has just rolled out the first changes to enable viewing the site in your local currency! At the moment you can set your currency and see approximate converted prices while shopping, but still have to make the purchase in USD. It does mean that viewing the prices in your local currency isn't as neat and rounded as viewing in USD, but helps with keeping a tally on your spend!

As I've already mentioned, the last few weeks were flat out with preparations for Hide & Seek Market, but also keeping me busy was a little challenge hosted by the Handmade Co-op involving this UGLY fabric!

And, believe me, I didn't think it was that ugly on screen, but it's much worse in reality!! I was actually a little stumped as to what to do with it. The challenge involved each crafter having to turn a piece of the UGLY vintage fabric into something that was appealing to the general public and suitable for use with kids. I'd been wanting to add to the range of softies for some time, so decided to combine the two challenges and came up with this...

A birdie sure to delight the senses with its vivid colouring, tactile wings and ability to brighten up a room with its presence!! What do you think? Yes, I have been absent for a bit, but I haven't been sitting around sipping lattes and catching up with friends! I have, in fact, been flat out preparing for the first ever Hide & Seek Market. It's on this Sunday, and is bringing gorgeous handmade goodness for babies and kids to the Hills and surrounds.

So you might remember a little while back I was trying to decide on some art prints I'd come across on my travels through Etsy-land. Well, I've finally started my small collection. I'm thinking of hanging them beside my notice board - which is still unfinished and leaning against the wall ... once I get some frames!

The three elephant prints are from Trafalgars Square, the whole shop is full of gorgeous illustrations and it was hard choosing just these three! These would be great for a nursery or bedroom too.

The one above is from Pocket Carnival, Penny draws these whimsical little creatures and the above print was from an ink and watercolour illustration on calico. Penny's illustrations are also printed onto fabric, then made into all sorts of gorgeous things!

A Short Break.

Earlier this week we ducked down to the far south coast of NSW to visit some extended family and have a short break from the usual shenanigans. It was so very relaxing, and the kids had a ball, chasing chickens, feeding chickens, collecting eggs, bringing in some firewood, and playing at the beach - just on the sand and rocks as it is the middle of winter!!

The boys did surprisingly well in the car, considering we were travelling for over 6hrs each way. But we're back now, and right into the swing of things here... mainly preparing for the upcoming Hide & Seek Market in a couple of weeks, and filling some orders, and thinking up lots of lovely new things to make, and making my submission for the Handmade Co-op Ugly Fabric craftathon!

A Sneaky Sneak Peek.

Earlier in the week I was all set to share the new pram blankets with all of you, but that has been delayed a teeny bit. But I did promise to show some pics, so here is a tiny little look at a couple of the fabrics they'll be available in.

Made of lovely designer cotton, and backed in white chennille, these are snug and warm, and sure to keep little ones toasty while out and about in chilly winter weather. The boys have claimed the top one, and Atticus loves using it while snuggling on the lounge!

Our oven has been dying a long slow death in the five years we've been here, so with winter in full swing and the need for warm, comforting baked goods, we decided the time had come to invest in a new oven. One that didn't burn everything put in it, while leaving some bits raw, one with a light that works, one that wasn't so noisy it gave me a headache listening to the noise of the fan - or whatever bits were being noisy - you get the picture... Today our new oven was installed, so today I baked!! I'd forgotten how enjoyable baking should be.

I LOVE MY NEW OVEN.

And the cake was perfect, no burnt bits, no crunchy edges with raw middle, no noise, no disappointment. Here is what I baked... So it may not win any ribbons for prettiness, but trust me, it's delicious!

Lucy's Apple & Date Cake

And here is the recipe, given to me by my very good friend Lucy, and scrawled on the back of an envelope while our kids played at the park this morning!

Lucy's Apple & Date Cake

175g butter

1.5 cups self raising flour

2 teaspoons mixed spice

1-2 granny smith apples, peeled and chopped

3/4 cup raw sugar

1 cup chopped dates

1 egg

150ml milk

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons raw sugar

Rub butter into flour and mixed spice, until it resembles breadcrumbs (can be done by hand or in food processor).

Stir in apples, sugar and dates.

Then stir through egg and milk.

Bake at 160'C (fan forced) for 60mins.

Melt honey and stir in extra sugar, spread over warm cake. This cake tastes great anytime, but is especially delicious served warm.

PS. I'm well aware my presentation and plating skills would not cut it with the CWA, but who has time for plating when this waits to be consumed!

Selling Fast.

Sometimes when fabrics are being selected it's easy to know they'll be a hit... other times it's trickier to gauge the response they'll get. I'm getting to the last bits of certain fabrics, which have been very popular, and unfortunately they've either been discontinued, or have sold out really fast. On Monday I spent a few hours trying to source more of these fabrics but was unsuccessful, so the following items are either sold out or almost sold out.

On the upside, there is a stash of Dribble Bibs cut out and ready to sew in the Woodland fabric, that I'd put somewhere safe, and unearthed while tidying the desk! So they've been made up and I'm waiting for some better light to photograph them!

And now comes the fun job of sourcing lovely new fabrics to make into gorgeous things!

Another Year Older.

This week we'll be celebrating our big boy's third birthday. It's hard to imagine where the last three years have gone and how he is changing and growing right before our eyes. It's also a reminder for me about what a privilege parenting is - and I often need the reminder, because it's easy to be caught up in the daily frustrations of being a full time mum. So now I just have to convince him to decide on a cake and we'll be all set to celebrate!

I was reflecting last night about the way things work out sometimes - life hands you lemons so you make tangy lemon squares - that sort of thing... See just over a week ago I was really bummed about the cancellation of the market I was supposed to do yesterday. Mainly because I'd been working around the clock to sew stock for it, had ordered in various supplies, and was sick and looking after little sickies for two weeks. Anyway, looking back over the week, it worked out well as I've managed to cross off a few little projects around here. And no I don't mean that the weeding has been done, or the mountain of laundry is any smaller... just these little projects:

My two little super heroes!

Baby Elephant #1 is really getting into dress-ups at the moment, and for ages I've been wanting to make the boys some capes. So on Friday night, with the deadline of a little friend's dress up party the next day, I found this tutorial and whipped up these capes. He loves it and I love watching him race around the house as a superhero!

It had to be red of course!

I also wanted to try making a tutu for the birthday girl, so having seen lots of tutorials around, and with some advice from Kim, the tulle was bought (with kids in tow) and tutu made in just over an hour! It was so much fun making something really girly after three years of boys things!!

Nicknamed the Marshmallow Tutu as it's made of cream and pink tulle!

And then there is the cot quilt... finished last night, while watching Keanu and Sandra on TV. I'm so happy with how it turned out, even though it's not perfect, I loved the process of putting it all together.

I used some Alexander Henry Spotted Owl and Michael Miller Word Search fabric to start from and 'found' the other fabrics in my stash. The pattern is from here and I love how the linear quilting adds a touch of a contemporary feel to it.

The weather is so very miserable this week, and I'm loving spending some time inside - well, apart from the cabin fevered kids, muddy footprints through the house, and lack of vitamin D. Because I'm working on my latest little project, and it is so much fun! I've been wanting to learn how to make a patchwork quilt for ages, and decided to start with a cot quilt for Noah. I have used some fabulous online resources to work most of it out, but am also thankful to my wonderful friend Jo for binding tips.

The internet can be a wonderful place and I'm very grateful for the generous people who share their talent with the rest of us... I've spent lots of time at Oh, Fransson, Amy's Creative Side, and Diary Of A Quilter amongst others as I've tried to work all this out. Oh, and extra special thanks to Liesl at Hoppo Bumpo for the instructions on attaching the walking foot to my mum's old Janome! The quilt is close to being finished, just working on the binding, so I better get back to it while Noah is napping. Pics will follow as soon as it's done!

That's right, it's been another busy week here at IndigoElephant HQ, with sewing up orders and preparing for the next market... Or I thought I was preparing for a market, but found out today that it's cancelled. Fortunately I emailed to check some details!

As always I seem to be at my most creative when I'm flat out trying to get other things done?? There are so many new ideas popping up at the moment and simply not enough time to try them all. Actually, the lovely Kim from Kaboodle, suggested sending myself an email of the new ideas, to be filed away and re-visited as time allows. A pretty good solution, and now I have some time to do a few of those things on the "to try" list. And I can finish ~~things~~ Kids In The Kitchen, that I've been fine tuning for ages!

I was planning on launching a few things at the market, but will do it here instead! The first: sets of face washers (or wash cloths) - designed to co-ordinate with bibs - and will also tie in with Dummy clips... I like things to co-ordinate, just ask my boys!

Styled to co-ordinate with the colours in the Michael Miller Groovy Guitars fabric, these also tie-in with the Rockin'Guitar Feeding Bib.

This set matches the Woodland series - with options for Feeding Bibs & Dummy Clips.

Just an idea for packaging, for markets as this won't work for keeping postage costs down!
